Lauren Takata
Lauren Takata joined Wholistic Kids after her own children were profoundly affected by environmental illness—particularly mold. Her family’s healing journey inspired her to help others access the same level of transformative care. Lauren has trained more closely with Dr. K than any other provider and brings extraordinary dedication and insight to every family she serves.
Together, our team is reimagining what pediatric care can look like—where compassion meets science, and where healing becomes possible for even the most complex cases.

Dr. Pejman Katiraei
Dr. Katiraei connects with children facing autism, anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental disorders on a level few can—because he’s lived a version of their story himself. His early life experiences gave him a rare, personal understanding of what it means to struggle—and to heal. This deeply informs the way he practices medicine. A board-certified pediatrician and integrative medicine expert, Dr. K completed two fellowships to become one of the world’s leading voices in pediatric functional and integrative health. While his knowledge of the science runs deep, it’s his lived experience that sets him apart. He is relentlessly committed to helping children heal at the deepest level—unlocking profound change that can last a lifetime.
Dr. K is passionate about general pediatrics. He believes the best way to treat complex disorders—like severe autism—is to prevent them whenever possible through intelligent, proactive care.
