Kimchi Hummus
It is great to see that kids have been enjoying #hummus to dip their veggies, to spread on their wraps and sandwiches… Hummus is such an easy recipe to do, and you can add/hide some great extra nutritional gems in the mix, like #kimchi that is a fermented powerhouse, that helps with #guthealth and with a #healthygut #, that comes with a #strong #immunesystem .
Let’s dive into the recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup dried #garbanzobeans (soaked overnight or pressure cooked)
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
½ cup #tahini .
2 tbsp kimchi (optional)
¼ tsp #turmeric (optional)
10 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
¼ cup water
1 tbsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Directions
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor, and blend them until smooth.
2. Adjust seasoning to taste.
3. Enjoy!
Note: Sounds extremely different to add the kimchi to it, I know… but you won’t be able to taste it at all and will add tons of extra benefits to the dish.
