Crispy Chickpeas

It’s almost the weekend and the games are back on, so we know there are a lot of families happy to have some sports entertainment to enjoy, so we have for you a recipe that will fit right into your schedule, our Crispy Chickpeas!!!!

Total time: 30 min

Ingredients:
2 cups of pressured cooked #garbanzo beans
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp za’atar spice (store-bought or #homemade – recipe below)
1 tbsp coconut oil, or refined coconut oil
¼ tsp pepper or to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven at 375F, and prepare a flat baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a medium bowl and toss them together until all the garbanzo beans are perfectly coated.
3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy and eat them right away!

Notes:
– Za’atar Recipe: 1 tbsp of each: dried 3thyme, dried #oregano, ground #cumin, ground #coriander, toasted sesame seeds & #sumac; ½ tsp salt + ½ tsp chili flakes
