Chewy Tahini Cookies

I smell goodness on the way… The weekend is almost here and we thought would be a great time to share a #delicous #cookie recipe to sweeten our life’s a bit because we can all agree that times are a little strange and hard lately, so why not have a Chewy Tahini Cookie to bring some joy to our day?⁠

We say YES!!!!⁠

Yield: 12-14 ⁠
Prep time: 10 min⁠
Total time: 25 min⁠

Ingredients⁠
¼ cup #tahini
½ cup of coconut sugar⁠
1 egg or 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 tbsp warm water, let it sit for 15 min)⁠
2 tbsp melted coconut oil⁠
1 tsp vanilla extract⁠
¾ cup almond flour⁠
¼ cup coconut flour⁠
Pinch of salt⁠
¼ tsp #turmeric
1/8 tsp #cinnamon
Pinch of ground of clove⁠
¼ tsp baking soda⁠
2 tbsp mini chocolate chips⁠

Directions⁠
1. Preheat the oven at 350F, place the oven rack in the middle of the oven, and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.⁠
2. In a bowl, whisk together the ingredients in the order listed, one by one. We recommend sifting the coconut sugar, and the flours in case they have lumps in it.⁠
3. Fold the chocolate chips into the dough, and scoop 1 tbsp of the dough into your hands, and roll into a ball, and place it in the baking sheet. Flatten the ball with your hands or the back of a spoon.⁠
4. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes.⁠

We made both versions of the cookie using the regular egg and the flax egg, and we can not decide which one we like the best, so let us know your choice, we would love to hear about it.⁠
