Butternut-Carrot-Golden Beet Baby Puree

We know how hard and challenging it can be to cook food for the whole family when you have a baby that is starting with #solidfoods and the rest of the family that already eat regular foods. That’s why we created some basic blends to have in hands that not only your baby can eat at any time but you also can apply to main dishes for the rest of the fam.
Here is our butternut squash-carrot-golden beet basic #puree that we will be using in many of our recipes coming up.

Yield: 2 cups
Prep time: 15 min
Total time: 45 min

Ingredients:
1 cup diced butternut squash
1 med golden beet, diced (small dices to cook fast)
4 med carrots, diced
½ cup water (to get desired consistency)

Directions
1. Preheat the oven at 400F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Add the diced veggies to the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until they are soft.
3. Add the baked veggies to a food processor or a blender with the water and blend until the mixture turns into a smooth puree.
Note:
This blend can be given directly to your baby that is getting introduced to solid foods and be used as a base for main dishes for the rest of the family.
